From the SYN+ team wine collection of Katogi – Strofilia.
Vineyards in the mountain region of Nemea, in the villages Asprokambos and Psari. The grapes are planted in deep, clayey, alkaline soils and yields never exceed 9000 Kg/Ha. The area’s climate characterized by cold winter and high amounts of snow and rain, while summer is dry, with hot days and cool nights.

Desteming and crushing into stainless steel tanks are followed by maceration and fermentation that last for approximately 2 weeks, while the temperature never exceeds 26oC.
Vivid red color. The varietal aromas of Agiorgitiko such as small red fruits dominate nose, whereas the palate is refreshing and smooth, with velvet tannins and long aftertaste.
Excellent aperitif wine. It goes well with a huge variety of meats and dishes from Greek cuisine. As a serving suggestion it is recommended to try it slightly chilled.
